On September 1st of 1983, Green Hill Gallery changed its name to the Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art. The change was made to better reflect the gallery's increasing growth as the state's only non-profit center for visual arts of North Carolina at the time. Through exhibitions and educational programs, we have exclusively showcased fine artists and craftspeople of North Carolina. We've changed our name again since then but our goal remains the same, to empower and promote the art of North Carolina visual artists!
