Artist Installation Opportunity: ArtQuest Interactive Stations

BACKGROUND

Almost 30 years ago ArtQuest at GreenHill was created to build audiences of the future and expose them to North Carolina Art through an enriched environment with sensory, hands-on activities and station areas that invite exploration and creativity. Filled with quality opportunities for children to safely experiment with materials such as clay, paint, glue, and textiles, ArtQuest is a learning laboratory with trained facilitators on hand to offer guidance. 

OPPORTUNITY

ArtQuest at GreenHill is seeking artists or teams to create stations that inspire arts exploration in the ArtQuest space. The new stations created through this program will increase the artistic opportunities for visitors, improve our visible connection to STEAM learning, and be a major component of celebrating our 30th anniversary. All works will need to be suitable for public interaction, engage visitors in creative play, and build on the STEAM principles of inquiry, critical thinking, and process-based learning. Successful stations will serve as a creative space for visitors of all ages to explore a specific art media or concept.
