Gallery Planning Committee Meeting: Estimates are being sought from contractors.

By-laws drawn up. The committee recommended the G.A.L. relinquish the lease to a group of citizens for work to continue. In addition, the Greensboro Artists' League Board of Directors voted unanimously to turn the house over to a newly formed group of incorporators.

GreenHill Art Gallery applied for a Grant aid of $3,300.00 from N.C. Arts Council in Raleigh. Start-up funds to aid in the development and fundraising.
Oct. 7, 1974
Hope Beaman, Dot Latham, Betty Jane Edwards, and Sue Seagraves signed the incorporation articles.
Articles were sent to the secretary of state, Thad Eure, Raleigh, N.C.
Hope Beaman, President of GreenHill Art Gallery, made a formal application to the United Arts Council of Greensboro for Membership and funds.

The Incorporators selected eleven individuals to serve on the initial Board of Directors, comprising 15 Board members.
