Wilson, NC artist Jerome De Perlinghi who is originally from Belgium is currently showing an exhibition in Chicago entitled, Rust Belt Cities. This recent exhibition highlights the struggles and realities of abandoned houses and factories in the rust belt. It is currently on display and will be shown through August at the School of Communication building at the Loyola University Chicago. An article on the exhition can be found here.
De Perlinghi is also working on the Wilson Project which aims to highlight and capture the people he meets everyday in the little town of Wilson, NC. An article on the project can be found here.
